Chef's outburst

VIEWERS complained after the pressure got to Michelin-starred chef Eric Chavot, below,

as he took part in a live BBC TV cooking competition yesterday and let slip a swear word. Mr Chavot, who was making his first appearance on the Saturday Kitchen programme, said "f******". A BBC spokeswoman said the corporation received 40 complaints despite a quick apology by the programme's presenter, James Martin.
