Body language says Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are more than friends

SCOTS film star Gerard Butler may have repeatedly denied reports that he and former Friends star Jennifer Aniston are a couple, but that did not stop them from putting on a show of affection for the cameras at the Golden Globes yesterday.

The chemistry between the actors, who also appear alongside each other in the forthcoming film The Bounty Hunter, was obvious as they presented the award for Best Screenplay.

Rumours have circulated that the pair have been dating since they completed filming the movie, which is due to be released later this year.

Standing side by side on stage to announce the winner, Butler, who appeared in 300 and RocknRolla, said it was "an honour" for them to be presenting the prize, before Aniston rested her head on his shoulder.

The actor also jokingly hid the result from his co-star as he prepared to read out the winner.

Before the ceremony, the two stars, who are both 40, posed for the cameras.

Aniston draped herself over Butler, showing off her Valentino dress and fuelling the gossip surrounding them.
