Blast for ‘poacher’ Cowell
Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman has blasted Simon Cowell for poaching Alesha Dixon from his show.
Goodman branded the media mogul’s actions “spiteful” after Cowell said he took Dixon to Britain’s Got Talent to hurt his rival.
Goodman – who is an acquaintance of the talent show boss – said that he was “disappointed” in Cowell if that was his motivation.
He accused him of spoiling the pleasure of millions of viewers.
Dixon walked out on Strictly after three years with the series.
Cowell said: “My decision to poach her was 70-30 on the fact she was on Strictly and the fact I liked her.
“They want to be number one; I want to be number one. We do what it takes.”
