Alex's long wait for his first kiss
THE Lead singer of Scots supergroup Franz Ferdinand has revealed he didn't kiss a girl until he was 18.
Alex Kapranos, 33, is fast developing a reputation as an international rock star, but that's a far cry from his early days.
The singer, who is dating Fiery Furnaces frontwoman Eleanor Friedberger, told journalists he didn't fit in at school and insisted he was unlucky with ladies.
He said: "I was uncomfortable at school. I just wanted to be happy in who I was as a person and now I am, but I didn't kiss a girl until I was 18."
