Your spread on the near completion of HMS Queen Elizabeth (17 July) was quite impressive. A full load displacement tonnage of 65,000 tonnes – incredible, the same as a Panamax bulk carrier.
It is something of a pity that there is no air group to be deployed on the carrier. That is the same as building a Panamax bulk carrier and welding her hatches shut.
A ship that has no function? Well done, the British government. Why do we pay these incompetents?
