Election victory boosts Indonesia

INDONESIA's rupiah jumped in the markets today after President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's landslide re-election.

Indonesian stocks, bonds and the rupiah have rallied on the prospect of a second five-year term for Mr Yudhoyono, who has promised to quicken the pace and widen the scope of reforms in south-east Asia's largest economy.
