‘Rise’ was created by award winning film maker Walid Salhab with help from Michael Grant.

The film shows the main academic building, student village, students union and sports buildings and the university’s landscaped grounds, while Musselburgh, the train station and the East Lothian coast are all visible in the background.

Shalab has previously put together a time-lapse/stop motion film of The Kelpies being constructed, while his time-lapse film of the Edinburgh landscape during the Fringe festival also earned him significant praise.
