Tables almost full for exclusive university dinner
TICKETS for Queen Margaret University’s Albert Roux Dinner have almost sold out – before the event has even been promoted.
Following last year’s inaugural event, this year’s dinner is to feature a team of chefs, including Andrew Fairlie, Brian Maule and Dominic Jack, who all have a connection with Albert Roux.
Only 100 tickets are available for the event in order to preserve its intimacy, with just 18 remaining.
Professor Petra Wend, principal of the university, said: “This event demonstrates QMU’s commitment to supporting the Scottish Government’s key priority areas of food and drink and hospitality and tourism.
“It provides a platform to showcase the talents of young chefs and the very best of Scotland’s food and drink.”
