Students seek judges for big band battle
MUSIC students are showcasing their talent at the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh, and are looking for industry professionals to provide feedback on their performances.
Artists from Stevenson College will perform seven minutes of original material and the students are looking for radio DJs, music journalists, promoters, producers and music managers to be part of the judging panel.
One of the organisers of the event on 29 April, Viara Ivanova, studying popular music, said: "This is a great opportunity for music professionals to use their experience and knowledge to help us pursue a career in music.
"We genuinely want constructive feedback from independent professionals."
