Pupils at West Calder High School will stage a second run of The Scarf next month.

The play was inspired by the story of Lance Corporal Jimmy Boyd, a former pupil of West Calder High School who, along with his fellow Hearts team-mates, signed up to join McCrae’s Battalion in the Second World War.

The play, which had a successful first run in January, will be staged on November 8 and 9 from 7.30pm until 9pm.

Tickets will be priced at £4 for adults and £3 for concessions.
