Strides off for the homeless
RESIDENTS across the Capital are being urged to support homelessness charity, The Rock Trust, by taking part in a kilted walk across Edinburgh.
The Kilt Walk will start at the Ross Theatre in West Princes Street Gardens at noon on Saturday 22 August. It follows a route behind Edinburgh Castle, before returning to the Ross Theatre.
Tom Byrom of The Rock Trust said: "You don't have to have a kilt and you don't have to be Scottish either. All you need to have is a belief that we can all do something to tackle homelessness. It's a belief that's shared by individuals and organisations across Scotland."
The sponsored five-kilometre walk will start with a warm-up ceilidh at the Ross Theatre, at 11am.
