School's flying the Green Flag
PUPILS and staff at St Ninian's RC Primary School in Livingston are celebrating after being awarded the prestigious Green Flag by Eco Schools Scotland.
Assessors visited the school to speak to pupils and tour the grounds to mark its eco activities against strict criteria before awarding the accolade.
The school's eco committee is now looking at ways of extending its care of the environment.
St Ninian's received a certificate for its efforts and is now flying the Green Flag, thanks to the donation of a flagpole by Barratt Housing Company.
