Pupils learn about HIV in class with dramatic twist

PUPILS at a city high school have been learning about HIV through drama and dance.

The youngsters at St Augustine's RC High School were marking World Aids Day with a workshop run by Zimbabwean theatre group Grassroots. Eleven pupils have taken part in a peer education project over the past eight weeks and have been learning about the impact of HIV in Scotland and across the globe.

Tom Gillam, local Red Cross youth manager, said: "Our workshops help combat stigma and discrimination."
