Pupils in 'action' trip

PUPILS visited the Scottish Parliament to highlight the plight of the 72 million children around the world with no access to education. Students joined campaigners from Oxfam, Save the Children and the English Speaking Union, yesterday to mark the "global week of action" for education.

Culture Minister Linda Fabiani said: "Education is a basic human right, and the schools taking part in this debate should be applauded."
