Nobel winner voted to chancellorship

A NOBEL peace prize winner and anti-poverty campaigner has been named chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University.

Professor Muhammad Yunus succeeds Lord Macdonald of Tradeston, the journalist, broadcaster and politician, who has completed a five-year term of office at the university.
