New vision of teaching with 3D technology
AN online teaching programme has introduced 3D technology for school pupils studying biology and chemistry.
The Scholar system, run by Heriot-Watt University for pupils studying at Higher and Advanced Higher levels, is now looking for a sponsor so that every pupil will receive a pair of 3D glasses.
Professor Phillip John, executive chair of the Scholar forum, said: "The introduction of 3D technology makes several aspects of the programme much more meaningful for school pupils and we hope the advances will encourage pupils to study sciences such as biology and chemistry."
