New course in social work
A NEW learning course has been launched by the city council and Edinburgh University to focus on the quality of services for adults at risk of harm.
The MSc in advanced social work studies will at first be taken by a small group of sponsored employees from the council and NHS Lothian. If it is successful, it will be opened up to a wider range of professionals.
Michelle Miller, chief social work officer, said: "The protection of vulnerable adults is a key priority for social work services."
