Murals a taste of good health
SIX murals promoting healthy living have been created by youngsters in East Lothian.
Pupils at St Martin's RC Primary School in Tranent teamed up with artist Frank Carty of Artisan Artworks to create the murals.
Headteacher Rosanne Ainslie said: "Working with the artist has provided pupils across the school with a wonderful opportunity to learn new and different art techniques. Pupils have developed skills not just in art but also in team-building and co-operation."
Through a series of workshops at the school each pupil made a contribution to the finished murals.
