Landing scare at city airport
EMERGENCY services were called to Edinburgh Airport after an aircraft experienced "an issue" while on approach into the Capital.
Eight fire engines, three paramedic cars and two ambulances attended the airport just after 9am yesterday, but were not required.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: "An aircraft coming into the airport had an unstable nose wheel. We were standing by, but after it landed the incident was downgraded."
Nobody was injured in the incident.
