Fundraising efforts sound good
MUSIC students are releasing a charity CD to raise funds for St Columba's Hospice.
The Stevenson College students are also putting on a concert at its venue the Music Box on April 28.
The CD features a range of music styles and students hope to sell 150 copies, while also raising funds through tickets for the concert.
Second-year classical music student Clare Lynas, who has been working on the project, said:
"Everyone has pulled together and we have received some great support from staff in the college.
"It's also satisfying to be raising money for a worthy cause.
"We are confident of meeting our target for sales of the CD and getting a good crowd along to the concert."
