Free lessons to the tune of £100,000
A CITY music school is offering £100,000 worth of free lessons over the next six months.
Morningside School of Music run by Edinburgh-based Polar Flame Music, has already given away 20,000 in private music lessons to every child at South Morningside Primary and Pentland Primary School.
A further 5,000 worth of lessons will be donated to local charities to auction or raffle to help them raise funds.
And management are looking for more schools to donate the tuition to.
General manager David Jeans said: "Many schools have trouble with funding music lessons, so we just want to do our bit and encourage as many children as possible. Our goal is to give away 100,000 worth of music lessons by December."
