Flats felled for £1.3m rebuild
A DILAPIDATED two-storey block of flats in Musselburgh is to be replaced with a new, £1.3 million three-storey block.
CCG (Scotland) Ltd was awarded the contract to carry out the work at 5-9 Links Avenue.
The new block will offer a range of one and two-bedroom flats, including two ground-floor properties with wheelchair access.
The existing flats have previously been used for short-term temporary accommodation.
Work is expected to begin early next year and will take around 40 weeks to complete.
