First students prove they're the business

THE first set of students to undertake a new business course at a Lothians college have graduated.

The new BA Business Management qualification, accredited by Edinburgh Napier University, produced 16 graduates.

One of the successful graduates was Lynn Bain, 33, from Linlithgow, who said: "We covered some very interesting subjects, the lecturers were wonderful and I made some great friends.

"The evening class basis suited me perfectly as my days are consumed with work commitments and my two-year-old daughter."

Lecturer Brian McGonigal, who teaches the course, said: "We are very pleased to welcome our first graduates from the BA Management course. The partnership with Napier University has proved to be very effective and we are looking forward to working with them for the foreseeable future.

"We wish our graduates the very best of luck and congratulations."
