Brain injury support service marks 10 years
PEOPLE who have suffered a brain injury got together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of a service that has provided them with invaluable support.
The West Lothian Community Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Service (CRABIS) celebrated the milestone with staff, patients and locals at a recent drop-in event at the Ability Centre in Carmondean Centre Road, Livingston.
The service was originally set up as a one-year project in January 2000, but is now firmly established.
It provides community-based multi-disciplinary rehabilitation to adults in West Lothian with a physical disability and/or acquired brain injury.
CRABIS manager Janet Foggo said: "We were delighted to see such a good turnout of people despite the bad weather."
