Athletics class for disabled
A DISABILITY athletics class has been launched at Drumbrae Leisure Centre.
The class, launched by Edinburgh Leisure, is open to anyone aged eight or over who has a physical or learning disability.
Participants can try a variety of events including hurdles, long jump, javelin and shot putt, as well as the obstacle relay.
A spokeswoman for Edinburgh Leisure said: "One of the regular participants could not step over a hurdle on her own when she first started, but is now doing so regularly."
