9/11 children visit college

CHILDREN whose parents were killed or injured in the 9/11 attacks have visited
Telford College.

A group of 25 aged 15-18 from New York, New Jersey and Boston are taking part in a summer camp to see what Scottish higher education can offer.

First Minister Alex Salmond, pictured, welcomed the students yesterday via a video link

Sean Sullivan, who lost his father in 9/11, said: “This programme really helps me to deal with what happened, deal with memories.

“We can all either talk about what happened to each other’s parents or we can just be like normal kids and hang out.”
