An Edinburgh woman enjoyed a lunch date with Leonardo DiCaprio this afternoon after winning a competition to dine with the star.
Elise Lovell, 45, from Stockbridge, sat across from the Oscar winner at Queensferry Street’s Home Restaurant as crowds of fans gathered outside to catch a glimpse.
Elise entered the competition, launched by itison, last month - all entrants were required to do was donate £5 to feed a homeless person and they’d be entered into a prize draw.
Following her date with the Wolf of Wall Street, Elise admitted she bought “a few” tickets.
She said: “We spoke a lot about what his foundation does, educating us all about the effects of climate change so it was fascinating.
“He was absolutely charming, he took photos with everyone.
“It was quite surreal but it was a fantastic couple of hours.
“Someone asked him about the result and he just laughed and said it was definitely a shock, as it has been to a lot of people.
“He didn’t really go into too much detail.”
