Call to add bite to 'menace dog' laws

LONDON's deputy mayor, Kit Malthouse, yesterday urged MPs to press the government for tougher legislation to tackle "weapon dogs" and a rise on attacks against the public.

He told a meeting in Westminster the law on dangerous dogs should have stiffer penalties.
