A SECOND man has been arrested and charged following the fatal shooting of Mohammed Abdi in Willowbrae on Sunday.
The 27-year-old man is set to appear from custody at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
It is understood he was charged with a breach of the peace.
It follows the appearance of 29-year-old Mohamud Mohamud at the city’s court on Wednesday before Sheriff Donald Corke.
Mohamud made no plea or declaration to a charge that he disturbed the peace following an incident in the Willowbrae area.
Sheriff Corke remanded him in custody.
Mohammed Abdi, 25, was gunned down in Abercorn Avenue at around 1am on Sunday. He was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary but was pronounced dead by hospital staff.
