Economic truth
After 13 years of Labour rule, the Prime Minster now wants to focus our attention on the economy in his struggle to keep the keys to No 10.
Admittedly that is where he has done best. In the economy, he has only sold our gold reserves at the bottom of the market losing 6 billion; achieved UK debts larger than that which broke Greece; and given away our 7bn rebate from the European Union.
Compared with the fiascos over pension regulation, soaring unemployment, disastrous foreign policy, the demise of banks, building societies and Railtrack, the MPs expenses gravy train and a justice system that has released 80,000 criminals early, his record on the economy is only abysmal.
