Driver 'in awe' after push from David Beckham
A MOTORIST whose car broke down was shocked to find David Beckham pulling over to help him.
The father-of-two said he was in "absolute awe" after the footballer stopped to give him a hand on a Hertfordshire roundabout. Paul Long said the former England captain was the first driver to offer assistance when he had problems with his car in Ware yesterday.
"I couldn't believe it," said Mr Long, who was taking his two children to school. "He asked if we were OK and pushed the car to safety. We were stuck on the A10 roundabout for about ten minutes, which was pretty dangerous. He got us out of a sticky situation."
