Dr Who denies quit rumours
DOCTOR Who star David Tennant denied rumours he is planning to quit the role next year at the premiere of the show's Christmas special.
Questions arose about the Bathgate-born actor's future in the BBC1 series after new assistant Catherine Tate said she thought the next series would his last.
Speaking at last night's premiere of Doctor Who: Voyage of the Damned, Tennant dismissed the claim as "nonsense".
"Catherine Tate stitched me up good and proper. She goes on Jonathan Ross and makes up a load of old nonsense," he said.
"She'd clearly had too much coffee that morning."
