Double blaze drama in city
FIREFIGHTERS were called to fires at two properties in the Capital yesterday.
The first blaze broke out in a ground floor flat on Piershill Terrace just before 5pm.
Nobody was injured in the fire. One appliance from Marionville and three from Tollcross attended the scene.
Another fire took place in the kitchen of a home on Comely Bank Road just after 7pm.
An elderly woman received oxygen at the scene but refused to travel to hospital.
Three appliances from McDonald Road and Tollcross attended the scene.
