It is a picture that is bound to melt the hearts of dolphin lovers everywhere.
Lorraine Culloch was at Chanonry Point in Scotland, pointing her camera at the water and waiting for dolphins to breach the surface.
When one of the dolphins emerged, it spat out some water that formed into a perfect heart shape.
The 38-year-old, from Arbroath, Scotland, said: “I had no idea at the time. I only really noticed the image when I loaded it onto my computer.
“I really think this is such a special image and a once-in-a-lifetime shot.
“It’s possibly not the best ever photo I’ve taken but it is certainly the luckiest capture ever!
“These dolphins are well known at Chanonry Point. People come from all over the world to see them and they have also been on a few TV programmes.”
