Doctor awarded for studies
AN EDINBURGH GP who combined his career with studies for an honours degree has been named Highland Theological College student of the year.
Dr George Craig is now in his final year of study for a BA honours in theological studies, working mainly from home in the capital, 168 miles from the Dingwall college which is part of UHI, the prospective university of the Highlands and Islands.
Highland Theological College is one of 13 partner colleges in the UHI network which allows study using a mix of electronic and traditional methods.
