Devolution 'not failure'
Alex Salmond has dismissed a report by David Cameron's favourite think-tank which claimed devolution had failed to address Scotland's social and economic problems.
The First Minister said the Policy Exchange document, which also argued against more powers for Holyrood was "out of touch with Scotland".
He said: "Scotland is a far better nation, economy and society with a parliament compared to the days of remote control from London. Scotland needs the powers of financial responsibility so we can boost growth in the economy."
