Daredevil sets sights

A DAREDEVIL optician has raised more than £600 for the Royal Blind School in Edinburgh by taking part in a parachute jump.

Michael O’Kane, director of Specsavers Morningside, jumped 10,000ft out a plane.

He said: “I was keen to do something for charity which also put something back into the community.

“The Royal Blind School has a superb reputation and is vital in the services it provides to the young people of Scotland who suffer visual impairments.

“I feel it will be a very deserving recipient of the funds.”
