Dancer dies weeks before TV show aired
A DANCER from South Queensferry has died just weeks before his role in a BBC reality TV show was set to be screened.
Zied Miled, 20, filmed the scenes for Dance X earlier this month and made it to the final audition from thousands of entrants but just missed out on the last 16.
But the scaffolder was found dead in his car last week by his sister Zayna, 25.
The cause of Mr Miled's death has still to be established but police say that there are no suspicious circumstances.
Dance X is being edited ahead of its screening in Mid-July but BBC bosses said Mr Miled's death was unlikely to affect the process, meaning he could still appear in the programme.
A BBC spokesman was reported as saying: "Zied was an extremely talented dancer and a fantastic character - full of energy."
He added: "The whole team enjoyed working with him. Our thoughts are with Zied's family at this sad time."
