Cuban leader ready to talk with US
RAUL Castro has said Cuba is ready for better relations with the United States, but vowed he will preserve socialism.
In a speech on Saturday, Castro said: "I was elected to defend, build and perfect socialism, not destroy it." But he acknowledged a "decline in anti-Cuban rhetoric" from the Obama administration.
