Criticism of ME care prompts Lothian review
A WIDE-ranging review on how NHS Lothian can improve services for people with ME is currently under way.
The six-month project involves officials from Edinburgh ME Self-Help, who hope that the study could lead to a significant improvement in the way people with ME are cared for and regarded.
The review comes on the back of an NHS Lothian report called Believe in ME, which found the services for sufferers were not as good as they should be locally.
