Crews battle Leith blaze
Firefighters battled a blaze in a block of flats near Leith Links.
The fire broke out in a bin room at the block on Coatfield Lane at around 11.10am yesterday and crews from McDonald Road and Marionville were able to tackle the flames after an hour.
Four firefighters donned breathing apparatus to enter the room and some residents from the flats above are thought to have been evacuated.
Scottish Power attended and the council's cleaning department was contacted to remove a "large amount of rubbish" from the scene.
No-one was injured in the fire. It is not yet known if it was suspicious.
