Course boosts health skills
A COURSE to help health professionals boost their skills is to be launched at a city university.
Later this month Queen Margaret University will open its MSc in Primary Care in order to keep health workers on top of their skills during a time of economic downturn.
It is designed to help nurses, doctors, practice managers, pharmacists and social workers, among others.
Dr Shona Cameron, a nursing lecturer at QMU, said: "During these difficult economic times and because of the constant need to improve patient care, it is essential that practitioners continually develop their own knowledge, skills and practice."
