SIR Sean Connery faces possible arrest unless he answers questions about a disputed Spanish land deal.
Judges in Spain claim they have tried to question the former James Bond actor for three years about the sale of his house in Marbella in 1999.
The Edinburgh actor and his wife sold Casa Malibu and it was subsequently demolished. More than 70 flats, later sold for an estimated £45 million, were built in its place despite planning regulations stipulating only five flats could be erected.
Sir Sean, 82, and his wife, Micheline Roquebrune, are expected to be told in writing that international arrest warrants could be issued if they fail to co-operate. He cited health reasons for not appearing at a court hearing in 2010.
