Concerns as migrants quit
EASTERN European migrants leaving the Lothians is a cause for concern, a former GP and MSP has said.
Dr Ian McKee said those leaving amid the recession were vital to the economy, and more had to be done to encourage them to stay.
"Our ageing population means that in future, if our birth rate fails to increase, we will be left with a stagnating economy," he said.
