College has something for everyone
A RANGE of short courses are being launched at Newbattle Abbey College this autumn for people wanting to gain new skills or find a new hobby.
The Dalkeith-based college has launched its new range of short courses in response to demand from the local community, with classes to suit every taste and interest.
History enthusiasts can choose between a variety of courses, while green-fingered people can enrol on to garden design classes.
There are also some Celtic-themed evening classes available, including Gaelic for beginners and traditional music and dance.
Ann Southwood, college principal, said: "Our short-course programme has been developed in response to demand from the local community.
"We are offering high-quality courses with something to suit everyone as well as providing a tranquil and historic environment within which to learn."
