A pair of wolverines have been moved to a new highland enclosure because the climate was too WARM in their
previous Edinburgh home.

Xale and Kirka love nothing better than munching on a frozen carcass in inch-deep snow and will relish the weather at the Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussie after nearly a decade at Edinburgh Zoo.

The pair have been in the Capital since 2006 and it is hoped the colder climate of the north with help the Scandinavian natives breed successfully because their population is
vulnerable.
