City crew set sail for new port of call
the crew of the Capital’s entry in this year’s Clipper Round the World yacht race have departed Singapore on the latest leg of their journey.
Edinburgh Inspiring Capital is heading for Qingdao in China on the eighth race of the contest.
The fleet’s departure saw skippers and VIP guests taking part in the traditional tossing of the Yusheng, or raw fish salad, to herald good fortune during the Chinese Spring Festival.
The boat is due in Quingdao between February 22 and 24.
