City nursery to help Africans

A NURSERY school in Edinburgh is aiming to raise thousands of pounds to help African schoolchildren eat healthy food.

Kirkliston Nursery School hopes to raise 30,000 to help 100 children at Ikageng Primary School in South Africa receive one nutritious meal a day for the next three years.

The campaign will see pupils attach a wooden or metal leaf to a tree in their nursery garden for every 100 raised.
