Children's Minister to see care for vulnerable young in action
CHILDREN'S Minister Adam Ingram was set to visit a child and family centre in East Lothian today.
Mr Ingram arranged to meet local agencies involved in child protection and was due to visit Olivebank Child and Family Centre in Musselburgh to see a frontline service that deals with vulnerable children in action.
The minister said: "Nothing is more important than the safety and welfare of our children."
The convener of Easy Lothian Council's children's service, Peter MacKenzie, said: "Olivebank is at the forefront of our early intervention work and shows how agencies working together can secure much better outcomes for our children."
