Childhood memories
Christine Gardiner (nee Lennie), from New Zealand, wants to know if anyone remembers The Blackburn Hall Mission, the Market Hall Mission, the St Andrews Hall, Band of Hope and Christian Endeavour?
She used to live on Henderson Street, Leith, and these places were part of her childhood. "And you could always be assured of an iced bun and cup of tea on the soiree nights," she says.
